NDDT’s Work Programme advisors provide an individual support service to help people get ready to start work and find a job or self employment. The advisors help customers to gain focus and direction in their search for employment, concentrating on what they can do, not what they can’t.
NDDT’s advisors work with the customer to:
- Arrange a ‘Better off in work calculation’
- Write or update a CV
- Prepare for interviews
- Access job skills work shops
- Find training courses or volunteering opportunities
- Build confidence
- Find a job to suit their needs
NDDT realise that everybody’s situations is different. That is why our advisors work with our customers on a one-to-one basis to overcome their fears, concerns, and barriers that may be preventing them for getting a job. The barriers our customers are face vary they could be: heath issues, childcare, skills gaps, or lack of relevant experience. Our advisors work with and refer to a variety of agencies to be able to cater for all our customers needs.
