SYIP Community Accountancy & Business Planning
North Doncaster Development Trust were successful in winning the Community Accountancy (North/Urban) and Business Planning (North/East/Urban) contracts for the South Yorkshire Investment Plan (SYIP) project. These services formed part of the Doncaster wide project that provided infrastructure support, advice and development services for voluntary and community sector groups.
The groups we supported ranged from unconstituted groups who were only beginning to set up, to groups at the brink of social enterprise status. The SYIP team have had a presence at many of the major events happening within the Borough, including the CVS Developing Sector Event. Attending the Footsey 100 event and the Community Accountancy National Network Conference has helped to raise awareness of NDDT and the project at a regional and national level. Skills support and employment support outputs were reached through CV workshops and one-to-one guidance with members of the groups.
