Congratulations Doncaster Communities Live at Home!

To celebrate North Doncaster Development Trust’s Community Transport’s 6th Birthday, the Trust entered all of its member groups into a prize draw to win a £200 travel voucher to spend on a trip of their choice. The Trust has 240 members and carries out over 600 trips a year.
Doncaster Communities Live at Home Scheme were the lucky winners! The scheme offers a range of services to socially isolated older people, providing their members the opportunity to socialise, have fun and stay active.
Activities include:
- One to one befriending,
- Friendship meetings,
- Pub lunches,
- Outings
- Information service.
Carole Killgallon says:
“We are thrilled to have won the prize draw. This will help us pay for a welcome outing for our members.
The Scheme has been a member of the Community Transport service now for 5 years and we are very pleased with the service we receive. The drivers are very professional, helpful and friendly”.
