Current Volunteering opportunities for North Doncaster Development Trust

North Doncaster Development Trust are pleased to announce new volunteering opportunities for our Community Transport Programme.

North Doncaster Community Transport provides affordable and accessible transport for local community groups.  We are seeking to recruit volunteer drivers in order to expand the services we offer to elderly and vulnerable people.

If you can spare a few hours a week to drive one of our 8 or 16 seat vehicles, we would love to hear from you.  This is an ideal opportunity to make new friends, be part of a friendly team, develop skills and experience and contribute to the work of the charity by enriching the lives of local people.  Full training and support will be provided and expenses reimbursed.

To volunteer, or for more information, please contact Annette Ramsay on annette.ramsay@northdoncaster.org.uk

Driving Communities Programme

NDDT's Driving Communities Project, led by our Community Engagement Officer has been gaining momentum over the past few months. By working in partnership with other Innovation fund providers, including Doncaster Social Prescribing we are continuing to undertake the delivery of trips throughout the area.

If you are interested in becoming involved, either as a volunteer, or would like to enquire about setting up a trip, please contact us. Otherwise stay tuned for success stories in the coming months!
