Micro Grants

North Doncaster Development Trust has set up the Micro Grants programme to support small community groups and associations to provide projects that will benefit the communities of North Doncaster.

ABOUT THE GRANTS
  • The maximum grant is £500
  • Grants can cover 100% project costs
  • Grants can also contribute to
  • Larger projects which will cost up to £2000, provided that the balance of other funding is secure.
  • More than one grant can be awarded to any group in any 12 month period, but the total amount must not exceed £500.
  • Projects should take less than 12 months to complete.

Eligible groupsIneligible groups

Any new or existing voluntary/ community group which serves the target area.

Eligible applicants must:

Operate on a ‘not for profit’ basis

Have a set of rules covering the group’s purpose, membership and area of benefit.

Have a bank/building society account, which requires 2 people to sign cheques

Have annual accounts or a budget for new organisations

 

Individuals

Profit making organisations—private businesses

National organisations

Groups operating outside the area

Groups that have already received £500 micro grant funding in any 12 month period

Projects with an incomplete funding package

Town, Parish, Community Councils

Political/religious projects

Projects that should be covered by statutory funding

Animal welfare activities
