Job Fair & Well Being Day
The annual NDDT Jobs Fair & Well Being Day will take place on Friday 26th July 2013, 9am-4pm. Located in the same popular spot, St. Sepulchre Gate outside the Frenchgate shopping Centre, Doncaster.
If you’re looking for a job, want to gain extra skills, or thinking about improving your health pop down to this free event and get the support to achieve your goals.
Money is available to support the communities of Bentley Ward through Community First funding.
Selected wards and communities across the UK have been allocated government funding in order to support community projects that address local needs. The Community Development Foundation (CDF) is the organisation responsible for funding the projects through the ‘Community First’ Programme.

The LYF’s Youth Ethical Enterprise programme helps young people in Yorkshire to create their own social enterprise groups, learn business skills and earn money. But this initiative has a very different ingredient. ‘Not Just’ your usual social enterprise approach…it focuses on ethical trading links and learning for small producers in developing countries and UK youth – helping to strengthen enterprise skills for all – as well as promoting fairer trading!
From 2 April 2012 and over three years of the Youth Contract, employers are able to take advantage of up to 160,000 wage incentives. These are worth up to £2,275 each where they employ a disadvantaged or disabled 18 to 24 year old through Jobcentre Plus or from the Work Programme for at least 26 weeks.
People across Doncaster are being challenged to leave failed New Year’s Resolutions behind, and Start something new this February instead!
