Sunday 24th June Our day will start with a Military Parade that shall muster close to Bentley Police Station in Bentley, Doncaster. Various elements will take part in the parade including members of the public. They shall then march to the nearby Arksey Cemetery. A grave side service shall then take place at 11am which will be attended by a number of local dignitaries and other invited guests. A civic reception shall then take place immediately afterwards at the Mansion House in Doncaster

Doncaster’s big Jubilee Lunch - New Civic Square, Doncaster
A big launch event has been arranged to celebrate The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the official opening of Sir Nigel Gresley Square in Doncaster’s town centre. ‘The Big Launch’ has bags of entertainment lined up. On stage will be live music, singing and dance acts, street performers will be roaming around, arts and crafts workshops will show people interesting new skills and uncover hidden talents, younger children can enjoy a selection of fun fair rides and a number of market stalls and food and drink outlets will add to the experience.
