Any new or existing voluntary/ community group which serves the target area.Eligible applicants must:

Operate on a ‘not for profit’ basis

Have a set of rules covering the group’s purpose, membership and area of benefit.

Have a bank/building society account, which requires 2 people to sign cheques

Have annual accounts or a budget for new organisations

 Individuals

Profit making organisations—private businesses

National organisations

Groups operating outside the area

Groups that have already received £500 micro grant funding in any 12 month period

Projects with an incomplete funding package

Town, Parish, Community Councils

Projects which develop/improve a community facility or service

Projects which contribute towards local strategies and plans

Political/religious projects

Projects that should be covered by statutory funding

Animal welfare activities

Medical research
