Available to small and/or new businesses to either help start an accounting and filing system or to take the pressure of people that don’t have time for the books! Or simply don’t know where to start.

I started my business in May 2009, as I had decided that I could use my knowledge to help others. I have been involved in bookkeeping and accounts for many years and felt that it was time to move on to the next level. I gained a qualification in Sage accounts and along with my knowledge, I went to see NDDT as a family member has recommended.

Getting involved with the NDDT, helped me immensely, I was able to gain advice on setting up my business and help with business plans.

I applied for a grant of £500 which enabled me to purchase a laptop in which I need for my business. NDDT also had available courses from the Revenue & Customs which were free and a valuable tool when setting up in business. It is great having the support there when you need it.
