Bentley New Village Community Safety Group
Bentley New Village Community Safety Group is a pilot group, developed in partnership with South Yorkshire Police. Our aim is develop links between the Police and members of the local community in order to highlight specific issues affecting the local area.
Our focus is to identify the effects of local crime and anti social behaviour. We hope to create positive changes by applying for funding to provide activities to engage disaffected and disengaged young people. We are also tackling issues such as speeding cars, drug related crime, under-aged drinking, youth nuisance, vandalism and litter.
