Capacity Building Project
The Capacity Building project increases community economic development by supporting the local community partnerships/forums with developing their capacity. A range of capacity building has included assisting with training, feasibility of projects, strengthening the local groups and assisting with delivery of a range of projects and events in the local neighbourhoods to improve the lives of people living in North Doncaster.
The project provides Project Development Officers to support the partnerships to deliver the projects identified in the community action plans in the Bentley area, Woodlands and Adwick, and Askern. Social enterprises and new community groups have been set up and supported and the strength of existing groups have been further developed as a result of the project.
