BEST- Key Support Worker

NDDT delivered The Key Support Worker Service on behalf of Best - Business Employment Services Training LTD in the Doncaster Area. 

The project was designed to help people remove barriers to work.  Barriers include problems related to housing or childcare, debt issues, lack of basic skills or health issues. 

NDDT's Key Support Workers worked with:

  • People on incapacity
  • Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) customer over 6 months unemployed
  • Lone parents and lone parents who work fewer than sixteen hours per week
  • Economically inactive people and those who have not worked for a long period of time
  • Minority ethnic groups and disadvantaged groups such as refugees and the homeless.

This The Key Support Worker project was jointly funded by DWP and ESF and finished on 31st August 2011, however NDDT continue to provide employment support to help Doncaster back to work.
